GEMS FOR MEn

A combination of knowledge and wisdom from God to help men endure the end of times.
A charge to Godly men: do not compromise
- Foundation: strength, self-control, and God’s will
A man is built by the strength of God’s will and the power of self-control.
You cannot desire to lead others while lacking self-government.
By nature, we love sin, yet we hate to see sin in others.
There is no excuse for sin; sin is unaccountable.
- Quietness, reasoning, and mastery of emotions
Men must study to be quiet.
When feelings take over, there is no space for reasoning. (Isa. 1:18)
If you are not quiet in mind, you lack meditation.
Men must hear more and speak less; this makes them slow to follow emotion.
- Daily discipline: meditation, study, and the training of the mind
Spend at least one hour each day meditating on the life of Christ.
Go far beyond and learn as much as you can; expand your knowledge and understanding.
Elevate beyond your thoughts.
Always work to develop the powers of the mind.
If you do not use your brain, you will eventually lose it.
Eating less allows you to use more energy intellectually.
Always aim to analyze yourself.
Be mindful of your self-talk.
- Guarding the gates: senses, thoughts, and spiritual warfare
The senses are the playground of Satan (hearing, seeing, feeling).
Evil spirits can flash images in the mind and watch your response.
Demons make suggestions in your thoughts.
Evil will stimulate the mind.
Sin begins in the thought; demons can put thoughts into your mind.
- Scripture, Psalms, and living by the Spirit
Utilize Psalms to develop your spiritual life.
Memorize the Scriptures.
Reading the Bible is eating from the Tree of Life.
Receive the implanted Word with humility.
Whatever you do outside of the Holy Spirit is not accepted by God.
As you obey His Word entirely and live daily for God, you are sanctified.
Christ died on the cross for us so that we can be justified.
- Light, influence, and stewardship
The stronger light of one person affects another; everyone carries an atmosphere.
As Christians, we carry the light of God within us.
The capacity for knowing God: the more you contain God, the more you can reflect Him.
Be mindful of how you present yourself: do not glorify self; glorify God. The Holy Spirit is selfless.
Use your influence for God’s glory.
We cannot change people, but we can influence them.
You will not improve until you improve others.
Greatness comes from not serving self, but serving God and others.
The bright minds should proclaim the truth.
We are stewards in assisting God.
- Trust, faithfulness, and the call to endure
You must first trust God before you can understand Him and live faithfully.
Don’t strive to be great; strive to be faithful.
The more blessings God gives to you, the more you are expected to work.
When we praise God, we set ourselves up for miracles.
- Home, marriage, and purity
Keep your wife’s mind pure as much as possible.
The lack of Bible reading and devotion increases problems in the home and marriage.
- The condition of the land (and the root of corruption)
The lack of reading the Bible and developing intimacy with God increases sin in the land. (2 Chron. 7:14)
The lack of application and attention to the Bible leads to self-deceit and worthless concepts, beliefs, and religion.
Moral filth and darkness prevent the truth from reaching the heart.
Anyone who rejects the Word of God invites a curse upon their life (sin and deception).
The rejection of God is the start of folly and moral corruption.
Do not reject the God of light for a moment of darkness.
Separations happen in our lives because we lack intimacy with God.
- God’s nature and the consequences of sin
God is above and separate from His creation, yet He is also close to it.
When men sin, it affects the environment, and people begin to see each other as strangers.
If we do not allow God to lead us, we will misuse His will for our lives.
- Perspective: simplicity, vanity, and true progress
Live simply, especially in these last days.
Vanity is accomplishment without satisfaction.
Truth is progressive; to lose oneself is to study truth.
God can use little to produce greater things.
- Strength under restraint
When the will of God is merged with a man, it becomes omnipotent.
It takes more strength not to fight than to actually fight.
- Confidence in the Word
There is no error in God and His Word; it is the only place that gives substantive evidence and truth. This world does not know the truth.
THINGS TO BE AWARE OF:
The Internet of Things (IoT) refers to a vast network of physical objects—"things"—embedded with sensors, software, and technologies that enable them to connect, exchange data, and act on information with other devices and systems over the internet or private networks. These connected devices range from household items, like smart thermostats and wearables, to industrial tools.
THE FUTURE IS HERE:
The Internet of Bodies (IoB) is an ecosystem of internet-connected devices—worn, ingested, or implanted—that monitor, collect, and transmit personal biometric and behavioral data, often allowing for remote control of bodily functions. It bridges human-machine interaction, aiming to improve healthcare and convenience, while posing significant privacy, security, and ethical challenges.
- Avoiding the “Internet of Bodies” (as the world transitions)
Guard your body as God’s property: Your body belongs to God; do not surrender it to systems that track, modify, or monetize it.
Do not normalize “always-on” monitoring: Reject devices or services that require constant biometric tracking (sleep, heart rate, location, emotions) as a condition for access, convenience, or status.
Refuse identity tied to the body: Do not accept a future where buying, selling, travel, work, or “health approval” depends on implants, wearables, or biological ID.
Do not trade conscience for convenience: Convenience can become a chain. Ask: Does this technology weaken self-control, dull conviction, or increase temptation?
Protect your mind’s gates: Many body-connected technologies are designed to stimulate the senses and reshape habits. Keep the senses under discipline, not under devices.
Practice digital fasting: Schedule regular time away from devices and screens to strengthen quietness, prayer, and meditation.
Choose simplicity over novelty: Live simply. Do not chase the newest device if it increases dependency, distraction, or exposure.
Keep your home protected: Set boundaries for what enters your home (devices, content, apps, subscriptions, and “smart” sensors that listen/watch).
Be wise with data: Do not freely give your personal data. Limit permissions, disable unnecessary tracking, and avoid platforms that pressure you into surveillance.
Lead with courage and example: Godly men should model restraint, purity, and spiritual strength so others can follow a higher standard.
Seek wise counsel: Use wise counsel to avoid subtle traps—especially when “everyone is doing it.”
Stay filled with the Holy Spirit: Any decision made outside the Spirit becomes vulnerable to deception. Pray for discernment and the power to say “no.”
